I'm not that type of person to leave a bad review. However, if it got to the point where it was just unbearable and I wouldn't want anyone else to experience this same issue, then yeah I will. On a businesses travel and working the whole week in San Marcos, TX.. My weekly stay, check-in Tuesday 7/01 and check-out Sunday 7/06. Now I'm already paying a heafty rate for this week because of the 4th of July holiday. So the first night wasn't to bad, a little bit of noise in the hallways and also from upstairs. BUT THEN....from the next day 7/02 Wed. all the way to my check-out day 7/06 Sun. was HORRIBLE!! I believe that the owner and family live on site with kids. Not that I have a problem with that, at all. But you would think that if your an owner for a location representing a hotel franchise like Roof Inn or any major name hotel. You better ensure that you are running a good operation that benefits the customer and company, RIGHT? WELL...Apparently this location doesn't. This Red Roof Inn location WILL NOT allow you a good nights rest, especially at night! It sounded like you were at a kids birthday party every freaking night. I called the front desk around 12:30am, and the guy who answered sounded as if he was in the same room with the kids. I asked him if he could please address the noise and the running in the hallways as well as the noise from upstairs with banging. He said he would....HE DIDN'T! I would suggest another hotel if you are looking for a place to settle in after a hard days work or traveling all day and night and would want some peace and quiet. A WORD TO THE OWNER AND HIS WORKERS! PLEASE PUT YOUR CUSTOMERS FIRST! THEY CAN EITHER MAKE OR BREAK YOU!!
