Женски пазар, at which Rainbow is directly located, near Metro stop 'Lavov most' is generally very quiet place. General summary: student-style hostel for student-style prices, but one exceptionally hidden, if you appreciate being left alone. Check-in past 15:00 only!!!
AC is older, but works to heat you up fast. Main space is 3m x 2.6m. Bath/toilet is 2m x 1m with low ceiling. Entrance approx 1.5 x 1.5m. Equipment is provided, of student-quality and works, but hey, it is student-priced.
Room4 has its internal shower+toilet., rooms 5,6,7 have a common one. Sponge is missing but the SOFT water dries without stains.
Rainbow 4, 5, 6, 7 are on the upper floor ("pod tavan") with very steep wooden stairs, lighter baggage is recommended for comfort. Room 2 and 3 are on the bottom floor with easy access, if you plan to bring heavy baggage, or use Rainbow 1, 8 which are outside minihouses on the ground floor.
The steep stair access did not stop some top floor neighbours running away during the night like a flock of bisons, rumbling down the steep stairs loudly, to catch a plane. But then the quiet put me to sleep again.
Evening: Женски пазар is exceptionally quiet. Morning: The market is opening but it is still quiet. Area: Two free public toilets on the Pazar, one paid (0.3 euro). Two covered coffee vending machine rooms (24/7) , plus others on the central boulevard. QUALITY COFFEE. "This place has got everything!" Be warned that parts of Sofia with many coffee shops lack vending machines!
Some problem on Booking.com side with the transfer of arrival information.
Number 4 key deposit had been abused before., The code mechanism turns when you close the lid, be careful.
The adjacent garage-shop owner was there to help catch the arriving tourists.
The street entrance is hard to notice, unmarked metal gate, as it should be.
Time to leave: Some birds are singing, dove had played its peace song and cat had said its morning...
If you come looking for the place (Rainbow): The house number outside is missing, entrance is a metal gate between a garage-shop and the house, where the street bends!
Check-in only past 15:00 :(
Door marking with numbers and toilet door marking could use an improvement to a standard.
Rainbow4 room has window to one of the air landing corridors, some landings coming in hot are loud for 12 seconds. (3 times per night?) Others you won't notice, but some scared me, not knowing what went on.
Somehow I wasn't able to receive e-mail with instructions despite one being sent in the morning, but the neighbour shop assistant gladly and proactively helped, Мерси!
Be expecting "student hostel quality", because pictures alone do not show the whole story, it is a hostel, after all.
Do not be very tall if you want to rent Rainbow4. Use rooms with higher ceilings.
Shower head control: increase flow to lower temperature.

Dobra lokalizacja, wszędzie blisko. Pokój jak za taką cenę był dobrze wyposażony i posiadał wszytko czego potrzeba na krótki pobyt.
Byłoby super gdyby w pokoju była chociaż mała lodówka. Można by zrobić coś z przyszyciem, ponieważ nie zawsze dobrze działał.

The air conditioning was on when we arrived. 🙏 We were given specific instructions for self check-in, as we arrived very late.
We spent about 30 minutes trying to find apt. 4. We found the key OK, but didn't realize the door on the second floor was open and was the entry to the apartments. 🫣🤣

Jedyny duży plus to lokalizacja w sercu Żeńskego Targu. Jeśli ktoś lubi lokalne targowiska - będzie zadowolony.
Obiekt nadaje się jedynie na weekendową nocną przechowalnię, jeśli zamierzasz cały dzień spędzać na zwiedzaniu i nie masz dużych wymagań.
To jest zagospodarowane poddasze pod skosem, więc jak masz więcej niż 160cm, to poruszanie po "apartamencie" dość utrudnione ;)
Prysznic do jest de facto cała łazienka i skorzystanie z niego oznacza zalanie jej całej, a i do pokoiku się nieco przedostanie. Łóżko umiarkowanie wygodne, twarde. Ostatnia część schodów to właściwie drabina. Nie polecam wchodzenia z dużą walizką.
