I've stayed here several times over the past 4 years, as I have family near by. I've stayed alone or with other family members or my husband
When booking I always ask for a room overlooking the church and the staff are always so accommodating with this request. On my first stay here, I didn't think to request this as i didn't know the layout of the hotel and thought all rooms overlooked the church. So on arrival I was shown to my room at the back of the hotel, when I asked to be moved. It seemed like no problem at all. The members of staff sorted it straight away and I was shown to what has become my favourite room. The staff are so friendly at the Windmill, professional but also very down to earth. Plus over the 4 years I have seen a lot of the same faces working here, which says a lot for a business. I can't wait to return in July, when I will be staying for 4 nights. Although the area around The Windmill is quiet, the views are stunning and it's so peaceful. Don't miss out on the tasty breakfast and fantastic carvery when you stay here. Roll on July

Room clean and spacious. Plenty of tea/coffee. No large mirror only criticism. Great choice of breakfast and enjoyed a good evening meal. Staff very helpful and friendly. Will return
