We are a family of 4 (kids 10 & 12) who stayed for 4 nights in this beautiful apartment! The location is fantastic for exploring Lyon on foot and steps from the metro line. Bernard provided maps of the transit system and info on things to see/do.
The kitchen provides everything you need for making meals. Bathroom is well appointed and we didn't find issue with the WC's proximity to the kitchen as others have found. Nice to have a small balcony to enjoy a morning coffee on :)
The apartment itself is quiet!! We slept with the windows open at night with no noise issues. I can imagine in July/August it being quite hot inside. No AC but fans provided. The parking spot is a bonus as was the nice bottle of Cote-du-Rhone!
We wished we had booked to stay longer and look forward to returning during future trips!!

Close to all the basics you might need. The best equipped apartment we have ever had the pleasure of renting. Had many nice touches. Appliances all up to date and worked. Tons of pots & pans, baking dishes, plus basic dishes, glasses, cups and kitchen tools. We stayed 2 weeks and thoroughly enjoyed it. Don't miss Mimi's Patisserie around the corner on Garibaldi. Fantastic. Lots of shops and cafes nearby. The Metro is only 2 1/2 blocks away and takes you to or connects with other transport to most of the sites
The apartment might be a bit small for 4 adults with the equivalent of 1 bathroom and a small sitting area. For 2 it was homey and convenient.

4.5 rating. The apt was clean, the kitchen was well stocked. The beds were comfortable. Quiet street in a good location near public transportation. We appreciated that we were able to drop our suitcases off early. Only criticism- the toilet is in the kitchen area
