My stay with Laurent and his family was wonderful. The home is exactly as-pictured, only more-beautiful than you could imagine one-week before harvest! The house is set amongst the vines of countless acres of Syrah on the top of a hill in desirable Crozes-Hermitage. The poolside 1 BR home is perfect for a couple or perhaps a couple with 1 child, as there is a comfortable daybed in the room as well. It is an open floorplan, which works fine when staying by yourself or as a couple. The address in VRBO is not exact, so Laurent met me in town (not entirely easy, as the central plaza of the town is also not easily locatable in mobile apps) and escorted me to his home. He offered covered parking for my car, and it is an easy set of 8 - 10 steps up to the room.
The room itself is very clean with everything you need for a short stay. Laurent doesn't speak English, but his wife's English is perfect. Both were very hospitable and kind. I communicated with Laurnet frequently over e-mail prior to and during my stay (in French), and he always responded within minutes.

Mon séjour avec Laurent et sa famille a été merveilleux. La maison est exactement comme sur la photo, seulement plus belle que ce que vous pourriez imaginer une semaine avant la récolte ! La maison est située au milieu des vignes d'innombrables hectares de Syrah au sommet d'une colline dans le quartier recherché de Crozes-Hermitage. La maison 1 BR au bord de la piscine est parfaite pour un couple ou peut-être un couple avec 1 enfant, car il y a aussi un lit de repos confortable dans la chambre. C'est un plan d'étage ouvert, qui fonctionne bien lorsque vous restez seul ou en couple. L'adresse dans VRBO n'est pas exacte, alors Laurent m'a rencontré en ville (pas tout à fait facile, car la place centrale de la ville n'est pas non plus facilement repérable dans les applications mobiles) et m'a escorté jusqu'à son domicile. Il a offert un parking couvert pour ma voiture, et c'est un ensemble facile de 8 à 10 marches jusqu'à la chambre.
La chambre elle-même est très propre avec tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour un court séjour. Laurent ne parle pas anglais, mais l'anglais de sa femme est parfait. Les deux étaient très accueillants et gentils. J'ai communiqué fréquemment avec Laurnet par e-mail avant et pendant mon séjour (en français), et il a toujours répondu en quelques minutes.
Un séjour brillant et incroyable; hautement recommandé!
