About this villa rental
A stunning and unspoilt luxury villa in the beautiful residential area of San Chuchim, located within walking distance of the old town and the seafront.
The villa is of the highest class with sunshine from morning to evening.
The villa is in excellent condition with separate garage and guest studio apartment with double bed, kitchen and bathroom. Behind the garage is a separate laundry room.
The villa has three bedrooms on the first floor as well as kitchen with island and modern appliances. The living room is beautifully furnished with fireplace, dining room and access to two terraces. The villa also has a large and inviting garden with a great saltwater pool and outdoor shower.
The garden has grills / fireplaces with several fruit trees and plenty of seating.
On the second floor we find a master bedroom with private bathroom. The bedroom has access to the terrace with sea view. Here is also a TV lounge with access to the terrace, with stunning sea views. Outside the living room to the pool we find an inviting outdoor kitchen, all under the roof. The outdoor kitchen has gas hobs, oven and own fireplace / grill. The entire villa is winter insulated with central heating and floor heating. The villa also has central air conditioning throughout the house.

Altea is unique in several ways. The old town is famous for its unique light, whitewashed houses, fragrant flowers, art, university, cozy church square. Altea is a wonderful city where you can walk around the seafront and relax on the beautiful pebble beaches and in the evening see fishing boats tough into the harbor. Here is a selection of restaurants, tapas bars and much more. In the modern part of Altea you will find all kinds of shops, banks, market hall, playground, town hall, sports and concert halls. Along the seafront you will find many restaurants, bars and can also enjoy a wonderful view of the Mediterranean as you walk from the harbor to the River Algar's mouth. The lower part of the ancient city called "Bellaguarda", the city founded by the Arabs, is very cozy. The rest of the old town that extends from the city center to the church area has a number of small charming streets to stroll on and a variety of nice views, restaurants and small shops. We absolutely loved our stay in Altea! The house was perfect for my big family and we utilized all of the bedrooms. The highlight for us was the pool and outdoor dining area. It was just perfect. The balcony off the master bedroom was also a treat, with a comfortable sitting area and gorgeous views of the mountains and sea. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with pantry essentials like oil, vinegar, salt, seasonings, coffee, etc as well as a tap for filtered water. There was plenty of dishware, silverware, glasses, etc for the whole family. The bedrooms were all very comfortable, with plenty of towels for every person, and the central air was really a game changer during these hot summer days. The house was walkable to the city center (about 10 min with the first few minutes being uphill) with cafes, restaurants, shopping, etc. One thing I did notice is that the bathroom in the master bedroom appears to be older than the others, and it did have some mold built up on the shower tiles and sink. This was the only place that I felt could use a deeper cleaning. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxing family vacation in Altea. We can’t wait to come back!

Very Beautiful House - We had a good stay, enough Space and a Big Kitchen and BBQ Outside. The Bars/Restaurants from the owners recommendation were also really good

Our party of 11 (7 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 toddlers) arrived at the villa and were met by Torill who gave us the keys and a quick tour, answering any questions we had. First impression were good but the photos didn’t do justice to the outside space which was amazing with various terraces on different levels, fruit trees and a fantastic pool. The pool and the surrounding terrace was probably the area we used most and it had the added benefit of an outdoor kitchen. The inside was well maintained but there are some areas that require a little TLC. The villa had ample plates, cutlery etc for use along with towels, a travel cot, stair gate, spare bed to name but a few. The views from the upstairs balcony were stunning. Only downside to the villa was there was only one downstairs bathroom/toilet and the upstairs bathroom, which was ensuite, had no door. The villa is secured by an electronic gate leading straight onto the road and is surrounded by other residential properties. The area is quietly hilly and steep in places so is not ideally situated for anyone with mobility problems however if you have a vehicle or can get a taxi to pick you up (we had great difficulty due to the language barrier) it’s not an issue. It’s about a 10 minute (slow) walk to the nearest bar, shop and taxi rank. A further two minute walk and you’re in the old town with its cobbled streets, beautiful church and stunning views. There are plenty of bars and restaurants here and it’s well worth a visit during the day, when it’s relatively quite and at night when it’s buzzing with people. Its probably a further 15 minute walk downhill to the beach and for less than €20 a taxi can have you in Benidorm within 15 minutes.We had a great holiday and I would definitely recommend this villa .
