views were incredible and the place had everything we needed. Loved the place and facilities. Walks are all around and getting to the lake is easy when you know how. Hot tub was a treat and we felt very relaxed.
If you want to get to the lake just walk out of the holiday place and walk a few minutes on the right hand side of the road and there's a field to the left and a walk way just follow that down, it also leads to other walks around the lake.
I would return and refer this place to a friend as it is great value for money.
Hot tub - when bubbles went on it wasn't very powerful.
There wasn't much info on the area or how to get to the lake or the walks around the area.
The hosts were supposed to call to ask if everything was okay but we didn't get a call - I think the no host idea is good and nice to just get in with your holiday but I did feel like maybe it was too hostless.
The one thing I would like to suggest is a car park at the entrance of the holiday place to leave your car as even though it is very convenient and I'm not complaining but when I wanted to enjoy a cup of coffee on the balcony there were cars coming in and out which spoilt the atmosphere, considering its a retreat.
I know this seems like a lot of what I didn't like but we did really love this holiday and these are just a few things I would change personally.
I do think the cleanliness could be better the lodge felt slightly damp and even though it was clean it could of done with a deep clean like skirtings and things.
I would return to this place though so please don't be put off these were only minor things but I wanted to share.

the cabin was excellent, however i didnt like having a long walk to dispose of bin bags, and the steep, very very steep hill back wasnt ideal either, but hey ho, if your looking for quietness, and a bit of peace away from the frantic nature of cities, THIS IS DEFFO THE SPOT FOR YOU.
the quietness and solitude of the the park was excellent imo
