We love this house because it's close to everything while enjoying a quiet retreat inside or out back in the hot tub and with room for up to 10 people! With space for the whole family and endless nearby options, there is truly something for every person in your group to enjoy.

Enjoy your morning coffee on the front porch or retreat to the backyard for some privacy and even soak in the hot tub. Gloomy weather keeping you inside? No worries, we have you covered with our large TV room! Stream your favorites on Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+ and more! We also have a card/board game room you can choose from our selection of games to entertain from. There's also an amazing reading room if you want to get some work done or enjoy that book you’ve been meaning to get lost in. Whatever you want to do, there’s a space for it!
Walk to South Congress, jog to the lake, bike to Zilker Park or explore Downtown just 10 minutes away. The airport is also just 10 minutes away making your trip even smoother! We know you will love this space inside and out!

Your reservation also includes parking for up to four vehicles in the driveway! If you can fit one more, feel free to! There is also ample free street parking if you need the extra space.

Guests have access to the entire home and the hot tub out back! The only off-limits area is the garage apartment. Should you need a little more living space, ask us about availability of the garage apartment that sleeps an extra 2 guests. It's a new and very cute space with all the amenities!

However, please be aware that the availability of the hot tub might be affected by necessary maintenance, cleaning, or unforeseen issues that arise beyond our control. Our commitment to providing a safe and enjoyable experience means there may be times when the hot tub is not accessible. Your understanding and flexibility are greatly appreciated as we work to ensure your stay is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
If you need recommendations, we'll be available to provide them otherwise you'll have complete privacy. We'll provide you with access information before you arrive, so you'll have super quick and easy entry.
After booking you'll be provided a link where you can purchase upgrades to your booking such as early check-in and late check-out, additional cleanings, and more that will make your Austin experience even better!
We don't charge a security deposit! Where many hosts charge over $500, and where you as the guest risk them not returning your deposit – Austin Vacay remains guest-centric by charging a one-time, non-refundable fee (already included in your booking price) which provides up to $2,000 of coverage towards unintentional rental property damages (subject to plan terms and conditions). This means a lower cost to book, and because accidents happen, protection against costly charges. Plan terms and conditions provided by request after booking.

Scooters (Lime & Bird) as well as Lyft and Uber are the best ways to get around Austin, especially this close to everything. However, there are also a lot of public transportation options in this area (see CapMetro's website).
We have security cameras outside of our property at the entrances for added security and your peace of mind. We do not have any cameras inside, respecting our guests' privacy.
1) No smoking allowed (of any kind) ($350 fine)
2) No loud noises after 10 PM per city ordinance
3) No events or parties
4) Feel free to inquire about bringing your dogs along. We allow a maximum of two small dogs, each weighing 35 lbs or less. Unfortunately, cats are not permitted. There is a one-time pet cleaning fee of $85. Please inform us in advance if you plan to bring a dog so we can prepare the necessary cleaning supplies to eliminate allergens before the next guest arrives. If we do not receive notice at least 48 hours before your check-in, the fee will be $105. While staying with us, dogs must be crated when left alone, should not climb on furniture, and must not be left outside unattended. Owners are responsible for any damages caused.
5) The cleaning that you pay for is to clean the home prior to your stay. If you do not pick up after yourself sufficiently when you check out, you may be charged an additional cleaning fee - price depends on how long it takes to clean up after you. We don't expect you to scrub the home, but simply pick up your trash and put everything where you found it
6) Minimum age requirement is 25
7) If you do not check out on time (11AM) you will be charged an additional night
8) Please see the House Manual emailed to you a few days before your stay

We enjoyed our stay at the house. It was clean & comfortable. The hot tub didnt work so we didn't get to use it, but the owner responded quickly & had a tecnician out. O. Location was fantastic

We had a great time in Austin and this was a great place. The house was clean and had enough room for our group. It was a great location with short Uber rides to all of the major areas.

Used this property as a base camp for our trip to Austin City Limits. Close to Zilker Park which made getting there and back again easy. Plenty of room for our group including room for 4 cars which in the heart of Austin is relatively rare. House was as described and didn't run into any issues. Would definitely consider renting this property again in the future!

Home is in a nice neighborhood centrally located. It is spacious with multiple gathering rooms. Kitchen was equipped with cooking/serving essentials. Poor Host (Ames) communication, lack of professionalism to our emails to prior day stay and day of check-out. Very frustrating and stressful. An hour before check-in we received home instructions and code. We checked in at night... poor outdoor lighting made it difficult to find home (first time Austin guests). Older Home with much potential; home needs lots of TLC as there were broken items such as washer/dryer nobs, curtains, beds were NOT comfortable more so, one of the mattress was concaved, furnishings were in poor state. Upon checkout Housekeeper enters home at 11:15am; I understand we were running a bit over our checkout time of 11:00am. I asked her to give us 15 minutes and we would be out of the house. Minutes later about 5 more housekeepers showed up and began to clean bedrooms and bathrooms first while our group of seven 7 were trying to exit and comb house for any personal belongings that may have been left behind. Two housekeepers walked into my nephew's bedroom stay while he was putting on his pants. Emailed host Ames to NO response; later he contacted me (11:30am) with a very charging attitude, dismissive and stating "its irrelevant". We offered to pay for the 30/45/1hr of overtime at this point trying to explain to 6 housekeepers and host Ames we wasted about 45-50 minutes. BTW - Neighbors were really nice... Bad Experience with Host and Housekeepers Customer Service!
