This is a nice house in a lovely location. It is well equipped with laundry machine and dryer, although we would have appreciated more toilet paper and soap.The garden, with patio furniture, swings and bbq, is great.
More problematic is the management. We were given the wrong telephone number with which to notify the manager of our expected time of arrival. Failing the telephone, I emailed that information to the owned. We were travelling in a foreign country with two small children and, unfortunately arrived later than expected. On arrival, the manager thoroughly berated us, ignoring our repeated and profuse apologies. It was a sour start.
Regrettably the house instructions inside were no clearer. The text was both illegible and in places inaccurate, for example claiming the keys were colour-coded which they were not. But our problems did not end there. In preparation for departure four adults each spent an hour vacuuming and cleaning the house while the kids were asleep. Yet we were told we left it “very dirty.” The owner subsequently asked us to pay 30 euros for our use of electricity and water and 45 euros for extra cleaning. A Vrbo agent told us these charges were most unusual and we should not pay them.
It is a nice house but the management needs improvement.
