We loved staying at this mountain house. Heidi was helpful and accommodating, even as our arrival time got pushed back due to traffic. The place was pristinely clean and as depicted, within walking distance to the grocery store and great local cuisine. Tip: bring your own soap/shampoo.

Everything is high-end and tasteful in this lovely apartment. With simple (beautiful) wooden windows, doors, decor, the focus is on the stunning views from the two balconies. We chose to eat many of our meals on the outside table looking out at the lovely town with the majestic Dolomites rising behind. Heidi and Giuseppe make check-in and check-out easy, and the in-between time is just peaceful quiet in the perfect Italian alpine town. There are hikes for all levels, plus biking, climbing (and skiing in the winter). In the non-snow times, take the Col Alt ski lift from neighboring Corvara (the first ski lift in Italy!), and then hike down through gorgeous scenery. (An added bonus was that the July heat wave only brought temps up to the 70s -- absolutely perfect for exploring.)
