This property, called La Maestade in the green hills of Cagli, with panoramic views of the mountains from Monefeltro is located on the border between the regions of Marche, Umbria, Tuscany and Emilia Romagna, located about 30 km south of Ubrino. It is a former 16th century church transformed into 4 apartments each with independent entrance and patio (Pettirosso is the name of one of these). The owner's family lives in an apartment. The art cities of Umbria and the Marche, such as Gubbio, Assisi, Perugia and Urbino are easily accessible from here. The Adriatic coast is 40 km away. Fano and the National Park of the Conero offer sandy beaches and rocks with beautiful nature. For nature lovers there are also plenty of hiking trails for hiking or horseback riding. The Maestade, which is reached through a 1,5 km dirt road, is a true oasis of peace surrounded by fields of sunflowers, vineyards and grain fields. Silence is here interrupted only by the sounds of nature. For relaxation guests can enjoy a common swimming pool. It is an ideal place for couples and families who want to enjoy the outdoors in a relaxed atmosphere. You will be enchanted by the beautiful view of the green hills of this beautiful country!

Nice and quiet place. Liked the pool area and the kitchen was allright for cooking even more complicated dinners. The only problem was the fact that you needed to go by car if you wanted to visit a cafe´, restaurant or grocery store. Nothing in walking distance.
