About this resort
Location, location, location! The stunning La Cascada Resort is located along the famous River Walk, less than two blocks from the downtown River Walk loop in San Antonio. This resort offers a wealth of spacious multi-room suites, with a location that's just blocks from the River Walk complex, the Alamo and other famed attractions.
All units have complimentary WiFi, full kitchens, washer/dryer, whirlpool tubs, and private balconies that offer spectacular city views. This riverside resort is walking distance to all the daytime and nighttime entertainment, shopping and dining.
The resort assigns the specific unit around the time of check-in so your view may vary. Let us know if you have a preference to be near a specific location throughout the resort or if you would like a specific view. We will gladly notate your preference and send this over to the resort as your stay gets closer. Please notate that requests are not guaranteed.

A credit card is required for the $250 security deposit requested at check in.
As with many urban environments, parking is very limited. Parking is available for $25 per day, per vehicle, and is valet only. Parking spaces are limited to one space for each suite with the exception of 3 and 4-bedroom Presidential suites, which are allotted two spaces per suite. Self-parking and trailer parking are not available.

I was expecting a bit more amenities in the condo…more than are provided in a hotel for the price and area. Though normal cooking and kitchenware were provided, there were few “basic get started”provisions there. Bedrooms and bedding were more than adequate. The kitchen space is small and I’ll designed for appliance sizes and counter/cabinet-drawer space. Comfortable rental for those who don’t not use much except for sleep and relaxing on the outdoor space.

The property location was good, the unit was spacious for our family and the multiple bathrooms were helpful.
The photos are not the actual unit we got and while the layout appears similar, it was definitely not as nice. The living room furniture was not comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked for our short stay and we had plenty bedding/pillows. We expected an in-unit washer/dryer which we did not have.
We had an issue with the jetted bathtub loudly malfunctioning almost immediately upon arrival (and it was not in use) and the hotel was very slow to respond and made ridiculous excuses for the issue, at one point blaming us. It was very loud and around 10:30pm, the nice young front desk man finally came and turned the breakers off. It was repaired the next morning once the owner/property management contacted the hotel but it should not have taken that long or that many requests.
The time share people spoke with us at check in but were not annoying or pushy once we declined.

The property is nice but beware of the people at the concierge desk trying to sell you a timeshare, if your not interested just ignore them. The air conditioning and heat runs very loud in the unit but overall the unit was nicely decorated and stocked well. Parking is 22 dollars a day but is valet so that was nice. Checkout is 10 am. A bit early but we were able to get a one hour extension. Location was pretty good, just a short walk to the main part of the riverwalk.
