About this villa rental
The Villa is located in a dominant position over the picturesque town of Calci (reachable in less than 5 minutes on foot), surrounded by the centuries-old olive trees of our farm. The Villa is completely independent, all rooms have a private bathroom, there is a large kitchen and a beautiful living room with fireplace, as well as a large garden and a private, panoramic swimming pool. THE POOL IS OPEN FROM MIDDLE OF MAY TO THE LAST SATURDAY OF SEPTEMBER. THE POOL IS FOR THE EXCLUSIVE USE OF THE GUESTS OF THE HOUSE AND USE IS NOT ALLOWED BY OTHER PEOPLE OUTSIDE THOSE STAYING IN THE HOUSE. The wi-fi is free. Pisa can be reached in about 10 minutes. Lucca in about 20 min. Florence in about 50 min. 2 km away is the Certosa di Calci, where you can visit the Natural History Museum and the beautiful interiors of the convent. IN THE MONTHS OF JULY AND AUGUST WE RENT ONLY FOR WEEKLY OR MULTIPLE WEEK PERIODS FROM SATURDAY TO SATURDAY. FREE WI-FI

As four able-bodied adults, Villa Limone worked out really well for us. The cottage is in an elevated peaceful location on the edge of a great little town, which has plenty of eateries and shops within walking distance. The final 100m drive up to the villa is tricky for the uninitiated, so we were glad not to have a car! The highlight of the villa is the large private well-maintained pool with a wonderful view, plus well-functioning air con. The wifi glitched a bit, but this was outside the owner’s control - Tommaso was very responsive to any queries we had and we were very grateful for his help with our luggage on the final day! The kitchen/living/dining area would probably be small for more than four people and the furniture/light fittings etc were a little tired, but this didn’t bother us, we had a great time at Villa Limone. We had a great time in Calci and the area. Great sights. The house was lovely and everything needed was there. Everything clean and well organized. Great pool and really special to be sourrounded by all the olive trees.
Even had the chance to witness the olive harvest and Tommaso also showed us the production of the olive oil. Great experience, thank you very much again. Tommaso also supported with tips for shopping and local restaurants. Overall we had great time 😃

We loved our week here, great to have 3 en suite bedrooms. The pool was fabulous!
Our only quibble was the wasps due to all the trees - every meal time spent outside was spoilt by lots of wasps. We ended up eating inside, which is not what we wanted whilst on holiday. Tommaso was excellent when we informed him of the problem but sadly there wasn’t much he could do as he couldn’t find the nest.

We had a nice weeklong stay. The house and pool are nice and well kept. The location in the olive grove overlooking Calci is lovely.
The only thing that wastannoying is that only guests of the house are aloud to stay in the pool for insurance reasons as we were told at Check in. We were meeting friends in the
