Welcome to the enchanting Keauhou Hale, nestled in the heart of the renowned Keauhou resort area. This stunning retreat is perfectly positioned to offer breathtaking views of the golf course and the serene He'eia Bay. Surrounded by tranquility, Keauhou Hale provides an idyllic escape from the everyday hustle.

We recently upgraded the house with a new kitchen, new bathrooms, and some new furniture indoors and outdoors.

Spanning an impressive 3,300 square feet, this luxurious home boasts five spacious bedrooms and five elegant bathrooms. The vaulted ceilings create an expansive, airy atmosphere, enhancing the overall sense of space and freedom. From the backyard, you'll be captivated by the sweeping vistas of the golf course, making you feel as if you're living in a private park, bordered by the shimmering Pacific Ocean and the picturesque He’eia Bay, right next to the Kona Country Club Ocean Golf Course.

Location Highlights:
Just a 5-minute stroll to Keauhou Bay and the Fairwinds tour ship.
A leisurely 10-minute walk south leads you to the Sheraton Kona Resort, Rays on the Bay, Haleo Lu’au, and an array of 5-star restaurants and luxury resorts.
Head north for 10 minutes to discover the Keauhou shopping center, featuring a variety of stores, restaurants, a movie theater, and a vibrant farmer’s market.

Bedroom Details:

Bedroom 1: King-size bed with an en-suite bathroom.
Bedroom 2: King-size bed, twin bed, and baby crib with an en-suite bathroom.
Bedroom 3: Queen-size bed.
Bedroom 4: King-size bed, twin bunk beds, and a child bed.
Bedroom 5: King-size bed, twin over full bunk bed, and an en-suite bathroom.
For additional sleeping arrangements, a queen-size sofa bed is available in the den of the main house.

Comfort and Convenience: The main house is equipped with three split AC units to maintain a comfortable climate throughout, complemented by three window AC units in selected bedrooms and an additional split AC in the Ohana suite. Ceiling fans are also present in every room for added comfort.

The newly upgraded kitchen, featuring state-of-the-art appliances and a high-end gas stove on the island, offers a delightful space to create memorable meals for your loved ones.

Golf Course Access: Keauhou Hale is directly adjacent to the Kona Country Club golf course, offering stunning views of the palm-lined greens. The course is open to the public, with club rentals available for your convenience.

The base rate is for up to 8 people. If you have more than 8 people, we will add a service fee of $40 per night per additional person for additional beds, futons, linens, towels, etc.

Maximum Occupancy: Only the individuals specifically registered at the end of this document shall occupy the premise at any time. Children are counted in the total of the occupancy. Over-occupancy is a material violation of this lease agreement. If you bring more guests than the number of registered guests, you will be charged at the rate of $100 per person per night. Or otherwise, it will be $1000 per night fine applied to your reservation.

Parties or events: No parties, events, or visitors are allowed at the property without explicit written permission from the owner. There shall never be more than the number of guests in the reservation on the premises at any time.

Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are from 9 pm to 8 am daily. A $1000 fine will be applied to your reservation if you violate the quiet hours rule. Repeated violations may result in eviction from the rental property.

Check-In: TENANT agrees that rent commences no earlier than 4 pm on the day. Early check-in may be permitted if the house is ready, and must be pre-arranged with LANDLORD. The additional fees for early check-in are $199 for 2 pm check-in, $399 for 12 pm check-in, $499 for 10 am check-in.

Check-Out: TENANT agrees to vacate the premises no later than 11 am on check-out day. TENANT's security deposit shall be forfeited if you do not vacate the premises by 11 am unless otherwise agreed to in writing. Late check-out may be permitted if there is no new tenant arriving on the same day. Late check-out must be pre-arranged with LANDLORD. The additional fees for late check-out are $99 for 12 pm check-out, $299 for 2 pm check-out, $499 for 4:00 pm check-out, $599 for 6 pm check-out, and $699 for 8 pm check-out

We celebrated my daughter and son in law's wedding. There were 15 of us ages ranging from 6yrs to 65. The place was very clean and Emmy checked in with us to ensure all of our needs we met. The location was perfect for us. Walking distance to the beach and other places. We were able to capture some great pictures with the landscape. We were able to have a late check out making our stay not so rushed when it was time to leave. The hostess' overall resting was way above a 5 from the beginning of our booking until the end! Prior to arrival i had several questions. Emmy responded very quickly to them. During our stay she answered questioned i had promptly as well. Upon leaving she thanked us and made sure everything was to our satisfaction. The home was beautiful! Cozy enough when we needed our own space and late enough when we gathered as a family. If you are looking for a stress free vacation home. This is it!!! Thank Emmy for opening your home to us and entrusting us. Aloha and Mahalo !

First, I have stayed at dozens of VRBO's over the last decade so I believe I have reasonable expectations for a decent stay. Let's start with the good news: 1. Pre-trip communication & check-in were handled well. 2. Location is excellent, including privacy from neighbors and quiet street. 3. Plenty of space in the house and on the property. Not a huge yard but enough room to enjoy outside space. 4. Pool was a hit. We had 14, including 7 grandkids, 6 of whom are grade school or younger. It was perfect for all of us! 5. We love to cook. Kitchen was fine, grill was dirty and had to be scraped off before we used it but no big deal. Now, for the not so good news. 1. Houses in Hawaii that claim air conditioning can be misleading for those of us from the mainland. AC in Hawaii almost always means window units which equate to uneven cooling. This house was no exception. I ended up sleeping on the couch because the master bedroom was so hot every night. You're lucky if the house maintains about 77 degrees. I suggest at night turning the attic fan on high and opening all the windows. & sliding doors. Keep the screens shut!!!!! 2. We had a few problems when we arrived, the biggest being the washing machine was on the blink. This was a huge problem for us since we told our crew to pack light and do a load of wash every day or so. I contacted the owner and was told the door didn't always shut correctly, but I could get some duck tape to hold it shut. When I said that wasn't OK and I expected to hear her solution by the next day I was ignored. She never called back. To be clear, in the contract it says broken appliances do not equal money back. So, you're just SOL if this happens while you're there. Not to worry, however, I left a full role of duck tape on the washer. Also, the drier took 3 cycles to dry beach towels. just hang them on the pool fence for faster results. 3. Kitchen fuse kept cutting off when the microwave and coffee maker were operating at the same time and you had some lights on so you could see what you were doing. Didn't bother to report this after my concerns about the washing machine were ignored. (Owner may debate this or claim she didn't ignore me, but trust me, she did.) Bottom line this a 3+. Great location, plenty of room, good pool but poor customer service from the owner with some key appliances that don't work. It's as good as you can get in this price range, so pack your duck tape, or use mine and enjoy!
