About this villa rental
The property lies in the centre of Tuscany at 20 km from Lucca, 50 kms from Florence, Pisa and beaches. It is an ideally position to visit the most beautiful cities of Tuscany, for a day at the beach or a in the mountains (monte Abetone). The whole property is for private/exclusive use of the tenant (not shared with any other person), so it is an ideal location for a relaxing holiday. It has a large garden with a well maintained lawn, the garden is completely fenced and there is an entrance gate. There is a 12x6 meter swimming pool (depth 1,2 to 1,6 meter) with romain stairs and outdoor shower. The pool area is equipped with sun loungers, garden chairs, gazebo with 2 chairs and sofa. There is a covered terrace with table and banks on the southern side, at few meters there is also also a barbecue at disposition. There is also a table with chairs available if you prefer to eat near the pool. The property features also 2 mountain bikes, table football and a lawn of around 10 by 5 meter with mini soccer goals. In spring 2025 a new room was added where the new kitchen is placed, it features also a large dining table, fireplace and oven. The kitchen is next to a terrace with tables/chairs and a view on the pool. There are a fridge, dishwasher, oven, gas hob with 5 burners, Dolce Gusto coffee machine, microwave, fridge/freezer, bottle rack. In the kitchen you will find bottles of white/red/sparkling wine from Tuscany that you can consume and pay by consumption. The villa has on the ground floor a large dining room with table for 10, living area with sofa for 6 persons and 2 additional sofa chairs (3 flat TV of 55, 28,28 inch, DVD player, CD-stereo) a bathroom with toilet/shower). The 3 bedrooms are on the first floor, all are equipped with air conditioning. One has a king bed, a single bed and a baby cot. The other two bedrooms have a double bed and 2 single beds (it is possible to ad an extra bed in the last room). There are 2 bathroom with toilet/shower on the first floor (one is very small). If you are 2 families with 5 children, it is possible to put another extra bed in the hallway next to the bedrooms or one of the children can sleep in the sofa bed on the ground floor. Wi-fi internet connection (unlimited up and download), SKY pay TV available for free. Big supermarkets at 7km, close to the speedway exit of Altopascio (also on sunday open). Restaurant/pizzeria, grocey store, butcher and bar 1 km far away, more restaurants and shops available in the towns of Chiesina Uzzanese (5 Kms) and Fucecchio (11 kms). There are tennis courts at 8 kms (red clay see www.tcsantacroce.com). The nearest wyneries are www.fattoriamontellori.it/la-tenuta and www.cantineleonardo.it/?lang=de. Nearest golf clubs (all within 30-40 minutes driving): Cosmopolitan golf & Tirrenia Golf Club (18 and 9 holes, both near Pisa and Sea), Golf Club Bellosguardo Vinci (9 holes, near Empoli), Le Pavoniere golf (18 hole, near Prato). The Poggio de' Medici golf club (18 hole, near Florence) and Golf Club Castelfalfi (18 hole, near San Vivaldo) are both at 1h driving. The property is easily to reach if you arrive by airplane (the airports of Pisa and Florence are at 50 kms of distance).

The property was great. We were 6 adults and one big dog. It was perfect. I would suggest to have a car to get around easily. Roberto and his mom are delightful and very friendly.The pool is big and offers lots of opportunity to play and swim. The barbecue space is very nice. From the property you are quickly in Siena, San Gimigiano, Pisa or Florence. The kitchen is greatly equipped and provides all you need. We will most likely be back if we decide to spend some time in Tuscany.

This is a great place to stay in the country with friends or family. Roomy, private location on approximately 1 acre. Beautiful landscape, private pool, several outside dining areas. Nearest grocery and 1 restaurant about 2 miles away. Pisa about 45 minutes by car, Lucca about 25 minutes, and Florence about 75 minutes (we went by car once and rail once). Communication with owner was timely.

Fantastic Villa with lots of space
Overall we had a great stay in this villa and would return.
It was clean and description matched well. Everything was in working condition.
The Owner was friendly and helpful.
Car is essential but there are restaurants in 10min radius. Other places are easily reachable in 60min drive to explore. (For Florence we recommend train from Altopascio)
The only slightly negative point was the electricy&gas bill at the end. Make sure you have enough cash left.

This is a wonderful, relaxing, rambling villa with a rustic feel. We were a family of 6 and there was plenty of space for us all. The pool is everything everyone has said before. Quite stunning. You couldn't wish for better & it was always warm. The villa is in a perfect, central location so it's easy to get to Lucca, Pisa, Sienna etc.Car hire is essential for getting around. You will need to do an initial shop for essentials, soap, washing up liquid etc but otherwise the kitchen was well equipped. We would highly recommend this villa and would happily return to it for a future holiday.
