About this house rental

Come discover what a fun family beach vacation is all about at 4 46th Avenue. If you have a large family or many friends coming together for a reunion or golf trip, 4 46th Avenue will be the perfect choice on the Island. Featuring seven bedrooms, 4 46th Avenue has bedding for up to 15 people. To accommodate the perfect beach vacation for such a big group, 4 46th Avenue features a huge swimming pool, a spa, two living rooms, wrap-around decks, a pool table, and seven flat-screen televisions. Best of all, 4 46th Avenue is only one house away from the beach and offers many outstanding views!

The first floor of 4 46th Avenue features four bedrooms. Three of these bedrooms feature king beds and the fourth room has two twins. Also featured on the first level is the den with a pool table, exterior deck, and laundry room. The second floor features three bedrooms. Two of these bedrooms have king beds with private baths. The 3rd room has 3 twins (one bunk bed and one single) with a half bath off the living room. The balance of the second floor includes the kitchen, dining and living area, and a spacious deck overlooking the pool.

Ideally, 4 46th Avenue is located just across from the Wild Dunes Resort Gate and near the Citadel Beach House. It is an easy drive to Sullivan’s Island, Mount Pleasant, and Historic Charleston. Sullivan’s Island (5.9 miles) features Fort Moultrie and wonderful dining options along Middle Street. In Mount Pleasant (6.1 miles), your family will want to visit Boone Hall Plantation with its avenue of oaks, the USS York Town, Town Center shopping, and the restaurants lining the shrimp docks on Shem Creek. Finally, Historic Charleston (15 miles) is the number one tourism destination in the United States and offers some of the world’s finest restaurants, galleries, historic homes, and gardens.

- Please note that due to natural coastal conditions, beach areas may experience periodic erosion that can affect shoreline size and accessibility. During periods of high tide, portions of the beach—or the entire beach—may be temporarily inaccessible. My family and I stayed here for a wedding and let me tell you this property was just incredible. The views, the deck, the multiple floors and location was 10/10. Highly recommend for your next trip!

We just returned from a 4-night/5-day stay at this home. The location was perfect—the beach was just a few minutes away, the views were stunning, and the house itself had so much potential to be an incredible getaway spot. We truly enjoyed our time as a family, especially with the pool and spacious layout that allowed three families to stay comfortably together.That said, given the price we were expecting a higher standard of comfort and upkeep. A few issues made the stay less relaxing than anticipated:Pool: While my toddlers loved swimming, the pool skimmer/ditch was in need of repair and posed a safety concern. We even found an old hard seltzer can in the skimmer, which made us question how well it was cleaned. It would be great if you can touch up the paint in the pool area and replace some of the nails. There were nails that were sticking out that I had to watch out for.Pool Fence is loose. I’m sure many guests have leaned up against it. That should get fixed before someone ends up leaning too far into it and it falls.Kitchen: The kitchen was well-equipped with appliances, which we really appreciated since we cooked often. Supplies were limited: only two kitchen towels (we had to use hand towels from bathrooms for drying), no coffee filters, and very little dish soap for a 4 night stay with multiple families.Pests: On the first floor, one bedroom had dead cow ants, and one was even in the sheets, which we had to change.Dining: Chairs springs are worn / uncomfy
