The breakfast was superb we couldn't fault it

Booking the Superior Double Room with Balcony and views shared worth every penny. Excellent variety of breakfast options and friendly staff on hand to serve drinks and take orders as well at bar and evening service. Had to leave ASP on Sunday and Inn were very helpful to provide a breakfast to go. Evening meal was excellent but was so busy a couple of item on Main and Specials board already sold out by 7:30. Cannot be helped but a reflection on how busy and a popular choice the Wellington Inn is.
Bedroom Room was hot due to Radiator on full and heat from below rising. Late check-in, warm day all factors but I'd rather be warm than cold.

Location was beautiful . Lovely cosy pub , food was amazing and the staff were so friendly and helpful.

Property has curb appeal with plenty of off road parking, inside feels very welcoming both in the bar area and in the restaurant. Great friendly staff. Due to prevailing weather conditions and the long distance travelled we did arrive a little later than expected, however they were able to accommodate a late dinner reservation, thank you. Breakfast was really good. Wife would have liked porridge, we didn't ask but sure it would have been made available if not seen on the menu.
This is the only negative of our stay was the room size. I'm just over 6 ft tall and the bed wasn't comfortable, with the mattress being "very springy" son unable to adjust position without partner falling out of bed! Shower and wash facilities were good but very narrow door opening into the bathroom, at night this was a challenge without causing self harm.
