It was very homely & mostly comfortable. The kitchen was fantastic; everything was supplied & there was a good range of equipment, enabling us to cook from home. Helene was a very good & responsive host & had thoughtfully left a good supply of herbs & spices.
Unfortunately we were cold for the duration of our stay. It was wet outside every day & the apartment’s heating was barely working, altho Helene did her best to get it fixed. Unfortunately the plumbers initial correction failed & he did not return until our departure, 7 days later
