About this house rental
Down a long private driveway off of Highway 12 just two miles south of the historic Sonoma Plaza, Carneros Vista Ranch sits on three acres amid the countryside, with lots of privacy and miles of views. Having just completed an extensive renovation, the spacious 5 bedroom farmhouse is ideally suited to hosting vacation getaways in wine country.
The property features multiple outdoor entertaining areas perfect for enjoying the California sunshine or relaxing in the shade. A large outdoor patio features an oversized solar-heated, salt water pool with automatic cover, a BBQ grille and outdoor dining table with seating for ten. A short walk from the house and amid the newly planted vines sits a rustic wine country patio complete with bocce court, adirondack chairs and fire pit. For more fun, take advantage of the property's full sized par 3 golf hole (professionally built by Southwest Greens with Nicklaus synthetic turf), complete with multiple tee boxes and a 4,000 sq ft green. Enjoy a spirited putting or chipping contest with your friends amid the vineyard before returning to the farmhouse for a restful night’s sleep.
The home features central air conditioning/heating with dual zone controls. In addition, there are wide plank white oak hardwood floors throughout. Downstairs features an open floorplan for the kitchen, dining and living rooms to make entertaining easy for large groups. The kitchen features professional grade appliances and a large center island complete with wine fridge. In addition, there is a separate game room downstairs with pool table and bar console with television.
The upstairs of the home features four bedrooms, including a large master bedroom with king-sized bed, a cozy window seat and a luxurious en suite bathroom. The second bedroom also features a king bed while the two other bedrooms each have queen beds. These bedrooms share a hallway bathroom while downstairs there is a third bathroom and a bedroom with a queen bed.
Please note that although our pool is serviced and open year-round, since our pool is solar heated, it is very pleasant to swim in (temperature in the 80s) from May through October. In late March/April and through most of November the pool temperatures are cooler but still generally fine for swimming (70s), while in late November through mid-March the cold air temperatures (low 40s typically) make the pool too cold for most to want to swim.

Wonderful and convenient spot for our 40th anniversary with our 4 children and their spouses. Enjoyed every minute of our stay. It was especially nice to have a grand place to come back to after being on the wine trail. From short range golf and putting hole to pool table, heated swimming pool, fire pit area or just relaxing on the back porch…..what a delightful place. Check-in was smooth and well explained We did cook breakfast and a couple of meals. Very nice stove with amenities to go with the kitchen. Great for 5 couples!

We stayed here for 4 nights while making custom hats at Bottlerock in Napa. The house was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and an easy drive. We will be back!
