Location, it’s a great location , near the pool, supermarket, bus, shops, restaurants and beach.
The 2 bathrooms are great bonus.
When the fan broke, they provided us with a new air conditioning unit, which meant there was 2 ac units in the apartment which was huge delight.
The apartment itself is a great size, furniture is a little tired and could do with some updates but other to that it was perfect.

Location and the space in our bedroom
Found it a bit tired and the patio furniture needs updated large extraction pipe now running up the outside of the apartment and it was noisy from 11am to 11pm and also carried a smell of pizza from the ovens

Sun , sea , lovely walks , and fresh food
There was a wild rooster made his way down the hill towards our resort at 4,30 in morning , it kept a lot off people awake every morning till after 7 in morning crowing very loudly every morning of our holiday apartment that could not fault the apartment has everything we needed for a lovely holiday

We were met by Silvia, who communicated effectively with us, and showed us to the apartment at a time agreed between us. The keys were missing, so Silvia left us her set. The apartment was well equipped, and spacious. Plenty of storage, well stocked kitchen and clean towels in the bedrooms. We have visited before, we stayed in a different apartment, and so we could compare the properties. Pueblo Evita is well placed in a nice area of Benalmadena. With a little care and attention this apartment could be lovely again.
It was evident the maintenance required in the apartment has not been kept up. A drawer in the kitchen did not slide correctly, There was a chunk missing out of the wall in the lounge area, they had seemingly had guests who had made holes in the doors. The holes in the doors had been filled but I think for the price of the apartment and the damage deposit paid, they should have replaced the doors. The soft furnishings could do with a clean, there were stains on them. The bulb didn't fit in the overhead light so flickered and didn't work, there were other lights to use luckily. The shower drain in the main bathroom was backing up, so short showers only! The extractor fan was hanging off the wall in the ensuite shower room, the shower was not adjustable. There was a small amount of blood on the wall and on the bedding in the main bedroom, I suspect whoever made the bed up had just hurt their hand. There was no duvet or blanket for the second bed, so it was cold. There were stains on the mattress protector. The balcony had some chairs that needed painting, others has ripped cushions, plus there were areas on the balcony walls with paint missing, it made it look scruffy. We had to leave our holiday 3 days early to get home because my Dad became gravely ill, I explained this via the messaging service, there was no well wishes, only a message back saying they hoped we enjoyed our stay. The office did not contact us about an issue we had with the key for the security gates. It did become clear after speaking with reception, it wasn't the key but the actual locks on the gates that were temperamental. Silvia messaged us to help during and also after we left to clarify the key issue. I hope the owners use the quieter weeks to carry out some of the much needed maintenance work.
