Kastellaun is a small town with a ruined castle, situated on the heights of the Hunsrück, between the recreational areas of the Rhine and the Moselle.
After an extensive renovation, you will be welcomed by a lovingly and modernly designed vacation home with free parking in the middle of the castle town of Kastellaun. It has free W-LAN in all rooms.
The house is comfortably furnished for a maximum of 5 people. Its 85 m² are spread over 2 levels.
This and the beautiful garden with terrace make your vacation feeling complete.

You can reach the vacation home via a garden path. The 85 m² house with terrace is now all yours. By the way, everything is ready for you. Including bed linen and 2 towels per person as well as toilet paper, liquid soap etc..

On the first floor there are:
1) The large living/dining room.
It offers a nice and comfortable (sleeping) sofa and two inviting armchairs, together with satellite TV (incl. Amazon FireStic).
In the dining area there is a large round table with 6 chairs and other furniture, cushions, pictures, flowers, books and a small, free bar.
2) The fully equipped kitchen:
Stove, oven, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, coffee maker, water bubbler, kettle, pots...etc. Washing-up liquid, tea towels.... etc.
3.) Guest WC and a pantry/storage room.
On the 1st floor is:
1.) The bright and friendly bedroom with a large double bed (2 m x 2 m) and two comfortable single beds, (each 0.9 m x 2 m).
2) The bathroom, with large washbasin, bathtub and WC.
Access for guests:
You have your own entrance and access to all rooms of the vacation home.
You have full use of the garden area with lawn and private terrace.

We are beekeepers and you can have fresh honey directly from the producer on request.

We stayed in Kastellaun as a prolonged workaction close to family in Germany. The house was spacious, clean and central. The living and kitchen area were big enough for the 4 of us and our dog, beds were big and comfy. 2 toilets in the house made life a lot easier as well. Brigitte Nikolai the host was more than welcoming, helpful and friendly. She explained everything in detail to us, made suggestions of what we could do in the area and was helpful when my children had unfortunately broken 2 glasses. We got see their bees, and my children learned a lot about beekeeping, their honey can be bought and is delicious.My boys had enough space to run around and play outside, as did our little dog. We will definitely stay here again.
