Towns, villages and castles: Fontainebleau (5km), Barbizon - village of painters, Morêt-sur-Loing, Samois-sur-Seine, Vaux-le Vicomte, Blandy-les-Tours, medieval town of Provins…
Climbing in the Fontainebleau forest (many climbing sites in the immediate vicinity)
Hiking in the forest (hiking departures a few minutes from the house)
Horse riding and equestrian events - Fontainebleau, city of horses - Grand-Parquet (15 minutes)
Paris (40 minutes by train), Disneyland (50 minutes by car)
Music: Django Reinhardt jazz festival on the Ile du Berceau in Samois (2 km).

After a year among people and in a big city this place is silent and just adorable. Short ways and nice places to eat and drink. Forrest and water, to calm down and find peace.

Comfortable house, with nice enclosed garden. Car essential as very little within walking distance.. Cobwebs visible in several rooms. Refuse bins full on arrival and had not been emptied for some time
