The apartment (altogether) was nice and modern and large enough to host 2 families. We loved the large living-room and the phenomenal view of the valley, the ski slopes and to Oberwiesenthal. The location is close to the ski-slopes in Klinovec (you can also walk by foot if you want to).
Since we also let an apartment via booking.com (so we are hosts ourselves...), we take a close(r) look at other apartment hosts and how they take care of their facilities and guests. Unfortunately, there were some issues that prevent this apartment to become a very good facility: we spent alot of money (4-digit € for 6 days!) for staying there and then I expect that everything is in good to perfect shape! For instance the cutting boards (only 2 of them) were all used up (=> look at picture), as well as the wooden cooking spoon (=> only 1 of them => look at picture). Also the pepper mill did not work properly. What makes me very angry: if you make so much money with renting out an apartment, why not spend <20€/year to replace used up (low-cost IKEA) kitchen equipment on a frequent basis ??? Also, there were some dirty spots in the apartment, e.g. the stove top was not clean (=> look at picture) and as mentioned by many reviews here on booking.com: the blinds in 2 sleeping rooms (which can be opened/closed by a remote control) did not work at all or the remote control was missing, so you could not darken the room at night (in winter no problem, whereas in summer a big problem!). So, although other booking.com guests already complained about this issue already, the problem is sill not fixed! This shows us, that reviews are not taken seriously!
On top: the apartment is advertised with a fireplace, but guests are NOT allowed to use it (however, you only notice this fact, when arriving at the apartment!!)
In sum, we felt comfortable and it was a nice location but the host(s) need to do "their homework" to keep guests coming....

Goede keuken met prima inventaris
- Voor meer dan 6 personen: slaapbanken kunnen alleen worden gebruikt met kussens eronder, dan het matras erop. Het miste pootjes. Matras alleen te dun om op de grond te leggen. De 2-persoonsbedden waren prima;
- de electrische gordijnen: een deel deed het niet;
- hoeslakens niet passend voor het matras op de grond/slaapbanken;
- op verschillende plekken lekkage (gele plekken in plafond)
- stonden nog schoenen/slippers van anderen
- garage kon niet open voor skies, moesten nu in de gang;

Super Lage, super schönes Haus, check in sogar 2 stunden früher möglich
Das Haus muss dringend einmal komplett gereinigt werden.
Bäder-> Duschen nicht gut geputzt und die Waschtischschränke nicht sauber
Die Küche muss dringend rausgewaschen werden-> die dunstabzugshaube ist mega verdreckt....sehr ekelig
Staubsauger haben beide nicht funktioniert.
Am Geschirrspüler leuchten ständig alle Leuchten-> muss dringend mit Salz behandelt werden
Die kaffeevollautomat ging nicht, da er nicht gepflegt und gereinigt wird
