We stayed at Sinnes Waldrast in February. The apartments were wonderful, with a beautiful view of the mountains. The owners were very kind and gave us helpful recommendations on what to see, where to go, and how to make the most of our time there.
The room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including dishes, a hairdryer, a refrigerator, and a dishwasher. It was very warm, with comfortable beds and pillows, and the interior was pleasant, with thoughtful details that made the place feel especially cozy.
There is also convenient parking and the apartments are located in a quiet, secluded area. We especially loved the mountain view, the service, and the warm hospitality. I think this is definitely a place worth coming back to.

Wir waren mit unserem Aufenthalt rundum sehr zufrieden.
Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber, gut ausgestattet und man hat eine tolle Aussicht. Die Lage mitten im Wald ist sehr schön, man kann richtig gut entspannen - ein sehr besonderer Ort!
Das Frühstück war sehr lecker, wir wurden am Abend gefragt was wir gerne haben möchten und alle Wünsche wurden erfüllt. Am Abend ein kleine Karte mit Auswahl und immer wechselnden Gerichten - super Qualität!
Markus und Günter sind super freundliche Gastgeber – aufmerksam, hilfsbereit und mit viel Engagement dabei.
Sie nehmen sich auch mal Zeit für ein Gespräch und Günter machte extra eine Wanderung mit uns durch den Wald, was uns allen sehr gut gefallen hat.
Der Service war hervorragend, das Zimmer sehr sauber, sogar mit Kühlschrank ausgestattet und alles war in bestem Zustand.
Auch unsere Sonderwünsche wurden problemlos und zur vollsten Zufriedenheit erfüllt, was unseren Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht hat.
Er gab nichts zu beanstanden! Alles war perfekt.
Zu beachten ist die Zufahrt der Schotterstraße bei Schneefall im Winter

Wir hatten einen absolut großartigen Aufenthalt in derSinnes Waldrast bei Tarrenz in Österreich. Markus und Günter sind einfach außergewöhnliche Gastgeber – unglaublich herzlich, aufmerksam und mit echter Leidenschaft dabei. Man spürt sofort, dass hier alles mit Liebe und persönlichem Engagement geführt wird.
Sie bereiten sowohl das Frühstück als auch das Abendessen selbst zu – und die Küche ist hervorragend. Hausgemacht, ehrlich, gleichzeitig aber auf sehr hohem Niveau und wunderschön angerichtet. Die Atmosphäre ist gemütlich und stilvoll zugleich.
Die Waldhütte ist neu und modern renoviert, geschmackvoll gestaltet und liegt traumhaft mitten im Wald – ruhig, abgeschieden und perfekt zum Abschalten. Wir haben uns unglaublich gut betreut gefühlt; Markus und Günter haben sich ständig erkundigt, ob alles passt und ob wir noch etwas brauchen.
Wir hatten einen super erholsamen Urlaub und können die Zirmes Waldrast uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Ein ganz besonderer Ort!
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Sinnes Waldrast near Tarrenz in Austria. Markus and Günter are truly exceptional hosts – warm, attentive, and deeply passionate about what they do. You immediately feel that everything is run with care and dedication.
They personally prepare both breakfast and dinner, and the food is outstanding. It feels homemade and authentic, yet refined and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is cozy, stylish, and very welcoming.
The hut is newly and tastefully renovated and located in the middle of the forest – peaceful, secluded, and perfect for disconnecting. Markus and Günter constantly made sure we felt comfortable and well looked after.
We had an incredibly relaxing holiday and can wholeheartedly recommend Zirmes Waldrast. A truly special place!

De vriendelijke gastheer Gunter met zijn zoon Marcus. Ze staan altijd voor je klaar. En het uitzicht. Prachtig.
Dat ik weer naar huis moest gaan.
