About this cottage rental
Welcome to our beautiful Lake District home, Woodside Cottage, in Cartmel Fell.
Our home is perfect for escaping the hectic nature of everyday life. Come and enjoy the most incredible hikes, wild swim in our fantastic lakes, or relax in the hot-tub overlooking our beautiful gardens and mountain views. You’ll be able to relax in the peace and calm of Cartmel Fell knowing that the vibrant Bars, Restaurants, shops and activities of Windermere and Bowness are at your fingertips. The choice is all yours!
Woodside cottage offers:
-3x King sized bedrooms & 1 single bedroom
-3x bathrooms (one is en-suite)
-A spacious lounge with a wood burning stove and smart TV
-A cosy dining room with incredible views
-A fully fitted kitchen and utility fully stocked with free tea, coffee and pantry items!
-A massive garden with a fire pit, outdoor dining area and BBQ
-An oak, wood fired Hot Tub!
The location couldn’t be more accessible to so many amazing areas within the Lake District. As mentioned above your nearest towns are Bowness & Windermere, however a little further up you have Ambleside, Keswick and Grasmere. One of our personal favourites after Windermere is Coniston Lake from which you are only a 20 minute drive.

Just a stones throw away are three fabulous pubs which we have detailed below. They are all dog friendly and have great outdoor areas for when the sun in shining!

This home is extremely clean, well decorated and well equipped in every way. Hannah is very responsive and we had a fabulous stay. The view overlooking the garden while sitting in the hot tub is amazing. Highly recommend this beautiful home!

We had a lovely time in this gorgeous cottage. We really felt at home and everything was at hand. We struggled a bit with the shower but soon worked it out. Even the sun shone which made it a perfect holiday. Thank you Hannah.

We stayed here on the way back from Cornwall and we only wished we had stayed longer. Not only dog friendly for our pooch but the cottage is just beautiful, lots of interesting fruit trees in the garden to keep our little one interested. Coming back and lighting the fire after a day on the fells was simply wonderful!
