About this villa rental
Villa Anelide is a pearl set in the enchanting site of Praiano.
This villa, overlooking the sea, lies on the beautiful Amalfi Coast, which alternates inlets and promontories from Praiano in a succession of wonders of nature.
The location is exceptional; in fact Praiano lies halfway between Positano and Amalfi.
It is also close to Conca dei Marini and Ravello.
In addition, Villa Anelide enjoys breathtaking views; in fact from its terraces you can watch the spectacular sunsets overlooking the Gulf of Salerno and the Saracen Tower of Praiano.
Furthermore, from the villa you can directly access the beach “La Praia” in just 5 minutes.
In particular, to reach the beach, directly from the villa, it is necessary to walk about 80 steps that lead to an old path carved into the rock.
This path is very suggestive and unique as it runs along the sea on one side and a rocky wall on the other one.
This path also leads to one of the most historic and famous night clubs: “L’Africana”.
The African Famous Club is the reference point for good music, social life and entertainment on the Amalfi Coast.
Furthermore, for passionate hikers this location is an important hub for accessing various paths.
Among the most famous is the “Path of the Gods”.
The Path of the Gods is also famous thanks to its sky-line among the most evocative and famous in the world.
It crosses the Amalfi coast, rich in Mediterranean scrub, the Lattari Mountains that plunge into the blue sea of the coast from which you can see the Island of Capri.
Its name derives from historical facts and legends according to which the Greek gods passed through here to save Ulysses from the sirens that were on the Island of Li Galli.
To reach the villa a flight of approximately 70 steps down from the main road.

The villa consists of three double bedrooms.
The rooms overlook the large equipped terrace.
All double bedrooms have an en suite bathroom with a large shower.
A large living area with 2 sofa beds, for a further 2 guests (these extra places can be added in the bedrooms).
The two added seats are recommended for children.
The living area has panoramic windows that open onto the large equipped terrace, Vietri ceramic floor and satellite TV. A large fully equipped kitchen.
In addition, a laundry room with washing machine, dishwasher, which also overlooks a large terrace with a spectacular view of the sea.
The villa has air conditioning and heating.
There is also a swimming pool on the terrace.
Under the villa a typical Mediterranean garden with lemon trees.
Parking spot for one car on payment.

On the beach of “La Praia” there are several typical restaurants offering excellent local cuisine, bars, boat rentals and even a diving center just 5 minutes away on foot.
The bus stop that connects Amalfi, Ravello, Positano and Sorrento is close to the property (30 meters).
In the center of Praiano (1 km.) Food shop, butcher, general store, ATM service, first aid, restaurants and bars.
Distances: Amalfi 6 km, Positano 4 km, Sorrento 15 km and Ravello 8 km.

Visitor Tax: euros 3 per day a person.

Villa Anelide is beautiful - amazing veranda with an incredible view. The location was perfect for us- easy to walk down and jump in the water or visit a restaurant or meet our boat tours. The buses to Positano and Amalfi pick up near the villa - it’s a great place away from all the tourists but close enough to visit everything when we wanted too. Gerry was kind and helpful. Overall an amazing trip and wonderful stay!

We had an amazing stay at Villa Anelide. The location was perfect for us. It's a very spacious house with great views morning and night. we've stayed in Praiano a couple of times and this is our best stay yet.

Villa Anelide exceeded our expectations on almost every level. We visited for a week in April and could not have been happier. When you walk through the gate onto the long wide main veranda it’s a jaw dropper and you know you made the right call. The long wide veranda has multiple cozy seating areas, a dining area and a classic Italian vine covered pergola. Of course, the views are stunning. At the end and up a level is plunge pool with some additional lounge chairs. Down a level are lemon, fig and lime trees. For 3 couples the layout is ideal. There are 3 equally large rooms with large beds and private baths. The kitchen is decently equipped and has a long peninsula allowing for multiple cooks in the kitchen and a great place to put food out. The indoor dining area easily accommodates 6. We were thankful for the cool April evenings, but it did necessitate indoor dining. The “living room” area isn’t much to speak about, but really who cares, it’s the Amalfi Coast, your outside.The villa’s location was ideal for our purposes. It’s out of the frenzy of Positano and Amalfi, but an easy 15–20-minute ride to either. Down the private steps you can access multiple restaurants and bars, water taxis, and a beach, all connected via a narrow esplanade that winds its way around cliffs and into Praiano. Il Parada was my favorite. Great drinks, bar snacks and food. Think negroni’s at the water’s edge.

The villa was lovely and perfect for 3 couples plus a 2-year-old. The views from the villa were amazing and it was especially nice to be so close to the Praiano beach. We just had to go down a series of steps and we were on the beach with access to several great restaurants, boat taxis and kayak rentals (one day before the season closed). We had fantastic weather for mid-October so we were able to make full use of the abundant outdoor living space. The only downside would have been if we did have bad weather, the indoor common space is pretty small. Not a problem for us, however. It was nice to be in the central part of the coast and be able to travel pretty easily to other towns. All-in-all, a great place!
