The history and quirkiness of the house, like the 60s phone nook on the staircase, the recessed lighting and what we thought must be an old laundry chute. It was spacious and well-stocked with utensils and bed linen/ towels etc.
Great view and location.
Couldn’t get the upstairs TV to work, and the house was quite musty upon arrival.
The basement was musty, dark and dingy and could do with an upgrade: glad we didn’t need to use that bedroom.
I think it would be possible to make improvements without losing the old world charm.

The property is beautiful and spacious making it a very comfortable place to stay. The Evolve staff were on hand and responsive.
The only thing we didn’t like about the property was that the up stairs bathroom shower had been capped. This meant that we all needed to shower in the downstairs bathroom. That was inconvenient.
