The host was great and provided some insights into fantastic restaurants. Good location, within Colchester High Street, and still quiet. Close to the park within a few minutes walk. Had access to fixed space parking if required. Close proximity to TESCO Express and Sainsbury's.

Location was perfect and everything you need is available without any transport. Parking provided with a permit. Very spacious and not crammed like most other places we stayed. Family had room to move and spread out. After initial miscommunication the host went to all lengths to make our stay enjoyable over Christmas.
The combination for the lock box wasn’t communicated. After waiting 3 hours and numerous messages it was finally communicated. We initially thought we may have been scammed with a fake listing. The host was extremely apologetic and went above and beyond to apologise and make it up to us. The wifi password/access wasn’t provided for a few days either. Being Christmas I believe the mis-communication was a one off, however left us in a panic and almost checked into alternative accommodation as we had a 3 year old with us needing to go to bed.

Beautifully furnished , well stocked and lovely host who even supplied videos on how to find the property. Amazing location right on the high street and free parking! Host even managed to extend our check out for us.
