About this house rental
Summary:
Our home is only 10 minutes from minutes from downtown Sacramento. It’s very close to shops, local breweries, the Golden 1 Center, Sacramento State University and major highways. The UC Davis Med Center is within walking distance. This is an eclectically decorated 2 story condo filled with art from local artists.
The Space:
This 2 story condo includes a private outdoor porch area, covered parking on site and an always fun game room complete with arcades and Super Nintendo nostalgia. Your booking actually helps real artists within the community! Their art is featured in the house and also available for purchase :)
The Neighborhood:
Tahoe Park is an established, safe and quiet neighborhood. The residents are easy going. The house itself is about a 5 minute drive from the always fun broadway triangle (in Oak Park); an area with great shops, breweries, and a kick ass bookstore. I love the Plant Foundry (nursery and garden) and i think you might, too.
Getting Around:
If you get the chance, try the city's newest form of transit - electric bike sharing! JUMP Bikes are becoming more and more popular in the area and are a really fun way to get around. Of course Uber and Lyft are everywhere too!
Public transportation runs up and down the main cross street (Broadway); although I'm not the best with navigating the routes. Midtown is a 8 minute car ride away.
Other Things to Note:
Please note that the Condo has two parking spaces #165 and 164 which are next to one another. Free street parking is also available!
NOTE: We do NOT HAVE cable services. We offer streaming services such as Netflix, Roku, Prime, & Hulu. (Guest has to use their own Netflix account)
Interaction with Guests:
At the front door, you can say "Hello" with the Nest Video Doorbell - just push the button (if you want to). I leave basic household information around the kitchen area - wifi, tv navigation, lights (alexa), temp control instructions , etc. I've lived in Sacramento now for over 20 years- If you'd like advice on where to go for great food, entertainment or even a leisurely hike, just let me know ;). If you need anything else, I can meet, you can call me or we can message.

We were in Sacramento for the Ironman. This condo put us very close, 10 minutes from the venue. Total guests that stayed in the condo were six adults. There were enough beds to accommodate all of us and there was plenty of room in the condo. The front door of the condo was very dirty and filled with cobwebs. The inside of the condo was clean, but needs to be updated. The carpet, which covered the stairs and upstairs, was old, stained, and had a musty smell. The TV in the family room had a broken speaker, so the sound was distorted. The kitchen was stocked with pots, pans, and cutlery. However, there was no ice maker, or a tray to make ice. Overall we rated our experience a 3 out of 5.

The Art House was overall a good stay. It was clean upon arrival and had all the ammenities decribed it the listing. Four rooms, enough bathrooms for us all to get ready for our family wedding, and dog friendly. Upon futher stay there were a few things that just didnt meet the expectactions of the listing. We had an incident of the shower head falling off mid shower on my husband. There was lots of water damage under the kitchen sink and near the AC unit.

We booked this home as it had 4 bedrooms. The linens were clean but the shag carpet is dirty and has many stains, the shower in one of the bathrooms squirted water all over and when we went to have coffee on the patio in the morning, it was a mess, chairs all over, dirty, and looked like the patio had been abandoned years ago with no cleaning or care... dirt, leaves all over. We did like the video games.
