The location is second to none and the small touches like the bird feed, little guest book and coffee pods were great.
Not much to be honest. The only thing was a very personal issue. My other half is 6'3" and as we were travelling with his elderly parents they had the double room. The single bed was a bit of a struggle for him.

Everything: a really spacious property, impeccably clean and beautifully designed, with an awesome, breathtaking view that makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. The interiors are thoughtfully arranged, combining comfort and style, while the overall atmosphere feels welcoming and relaxing—perfect for both short stays and longer getaways.

Second time at this property , lovely modern decor and views over the lake. Really nice touches by the hosts throughout the property
Only mentioning to highlight to the host as it’s something you wouldn’t notice unless fed back. Lamp in front room isn’t working, decking could do with a jet wash to give it that fresh feel. Maybe a prune of the tree over hanging the decking might let a little more sunshine onto it. Great property though

The Lodge is very well kept, we stay in a number of these style of lodges each year and you could really tell that the owners looked after it. The lodge is very welcoming and homely and benefits from good internet access. The balcony backs off onto a large pond and views to pendle hill, there is a nice leisurely stroll around the big lake and site is very quiet. The owners left a few drinks and sweets to enjoy and had put up the christmas decorations which was a great bonus. We will look to return when we need a short weekend away.
This is being a little harsh but if I must answer, the Lodge was a little difficult to find based on the directions, as you turn left the lodge is indeed in front of you but sits with the back of the lodge in view and no way to identify it from the road side of the property, we spent several minutes walking around trying to find the correct lodge.
