Summary:
Life is better on the River! 10 minutes drive from Kings Island! Our 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom house is an outdoor paradise. Just bring your kayak & bike! This charmer in South Lebanon is on a private road nestled between Little Miami River (300 ft away) & Scenic Bike Trail (100 ft away). The cozy home offers 3 beds and 2 full baths all furnished and prepared for your family. The open floorpan is great for entertaining. Plenty of storage, primary bedroom w walk-in closet.
The Space:
Welcome to our home of the River. Our front porch welcomes all to sit back and relax. Once inside you will find a home that is designed and furnished to be a peaceful retreat for a small group. Our living room and dinning area has and inviting fireplace, and is a good spot to watch a movie together. Our kitchen and dinning space is a good spot for a family meal together after a long day on the river. Our kitchen comes stocked with the basic cooking tools and ready for you to cook up a storm.
The main floor also has a owner suite with full bathroom and walk in shower!
Upstairs you will find 2 more rooms, and a bathroom. One room has a deluxe queen bed. This room is a pass-through room to the other bedroom. The 2nd bedroom has 2 twin beds, and is cute as a button!
Our back porch has a dinning table for a summer meal outside, or a relaxing evening drink. Also enjoy our fire pit (bring your own wood)!
The Neighborhood:
Our house is a perfect place to stay for a visit to Kings Island, we are just 10 minutes drive from the park.
Also there is a public boat ramp very close to our house, and it can be used for access to the little Miami River.
In the heart of Ohio’s Miami Valley lies the Little Miami Scenic Trail, a 78-mile paved path linking Newtown to Springfield while passing through a dozen small towns, beautiful countryside and Southwestern Ohio’s Little Miami Scenic Park. The highlights of this trail include access to John Bryan and Caesar Creek State Parks as well as the Fort Ancient Earthworks and Nature Preserve. The Little Miami Scenic Trail is generally described as having a southern and northern section with distinct personalities that change as the trail shifts from meandering alongside the Little Miami River (a designated federal and state scenic river) to following the rail corridor of the old Little Miami Railroad.
The Little Miami Scenic Trail (LMST) is part of a larger 330-mile network of paved, off-road trails. The hub of this network is in Xenia, where four trails radiate out like sunbeams, giving this town a reputation as the crossroads of Ohio trails. Those interested in a shorter trip can make Xenia or nearby Yellow Springs home-base to explore day rides beginning at the Xenia Station.
Other Things to Note:
Guests must provide a valid driver’s license or ID and sign our Rental Agreement after booking to receive arrival instructions. Parties & unauthorized gatherings are strictly prohibited, and hosts reserve the right to withhold arrival instructions of confirmed reservations from guests with negative or low reviews, are under 25 years old and/or live closer than 100 miles from the home at the host's discretion in an effort to ensure the safety and security of our community, (impacted guests will be notified shortly after booking, and a full refund will be provided if the guest cancels the reservation in a timely manner).
PET FEES: Guests are required to disclose how many pets will enter the home. A one-time fee will be required based on the length of stay for the following amounts:
$35 (Less than 5 nights)
$50 (5 - 30 nights)
$100 (30+ nights prorated daily, or $75 for each additional full month booked)

Enjoyed the front porch and the ability to watch bikers and walkers go by on the trail in between our own walks.
Very comfortable place to stay and equipped with everything anyone would need!

Did not receive any check in information from the management company "Housepitality" until just a few minutes before check in. Although they claim that info was sent the day of confirming the booking, after checking ALL emails and junk...nothing could be found. They did not respond even after calling Housepitality and leaving a voicemail that no information had been received. Upon arrival at the rental it took over and hour for them to electronically send the lengthy rental agreement full of threats. They assume that the house will be used for a "party" and threaten all guests with a camera on the porch that counts the number of guests entering the house. We sat on the porch in the dark for over an hour while required documents were executed and the management company received a photo of my DL and a selfie holding the DL. I have used multiple rentals across the US and have never had such a frustrating check in process.
We won't be back. The overall property is adequate, but has the vibe of a frat house. The attitude of the management company and their rental agreement was so offensive that we would choose another option if we are in the area again.
