About this house rental
The Red Windows to Blue Sky is a two floor house.There are two main entrances one for each floor .There is also an internal wooden staircase. Almost anything inside the house is handmade and carries it’s own history.
On the ground floor, there is a living room with wood carved sofa and chairs , a marble sofa table a dinning table for 4 persons and a traditional Skyrian fireplace.
On ground floor, there is also the kitchen maintained in it’s original shape (about 1910). The tiles are handmade and the cast iron spots that were used for cooking, remain at their original position.
Of course there is everything needed on a modern kitchen, to prepair a breakfast , a meal or have a drink.
A light wooden table can be placed outside the house ,if you wish to enjoy a café or a glass of wine.
Finally at the ground floor there is the main bathroom.
Going up using the wooden staircase ,you reach the second floor (can be accessed also from the upper street main entrance).
There is a bedroom with a wood carved double bed. There is also a small WC. At the end of a a small corridor , there is the second bedroom with a 100 years old , bronze - iron double bed. Inside this bedroom there is also the Skyrian Sfas.It is a wooden carved construction that hosts an extra single bed.There is a wooden stair to reach Sfas and the place that is created under the Sfas is used as a wardrobe.
Finally on the second floor there is the stone balcony.You can enjoy your breakfast here or have a glass of wine later. Let your eyes catch the beauty of simplicity ,traveling over terraces to the sea or to the hill slopes.
