Great host, very friendly and gave us great recommendations. Breakfast included is a very nice touch with some amazing flap jacks!
Hard to sleep with lots of guests and noise.

Mario was so welcoming. The place felt like home.
Fire was lit and was very cosy. Breakfast was perfect 👌 we will definitely stay again and would highly recommend it.

Drove to Ben Lettery during Storm Dave and was greeted with a warm fire in the sitting room of the hostel. After a quick tour of the facilities, I settled in for the evening. Staff members were cheerful and helpful. Hostel manager Mario was great, with excellent recommendations for hill walks etc. All in all, a great place to stay, rain or shine.

Free breakfast, home coocked flapjacks and bread.
The kitchen was not big enough to accommodate all the guests. Despite knowing this, the manager was not flexible with the coocking timetables, leaving people without cooked food.
The tents are in the parking lot, you hear cars all night and its not what is advertised on the website, where it seems like they are in the middle of the countryside.
Why are there so many staff? When all they do is complain about our presence in the kitchen!!
Not a good experience, overall.
And, please, fix those banging doors!!
