We visited Big Bear mid April.
A great little home, 5 min walk from the Lake and 10 min drive from Big bear town, and also all the hikes
There is everything you need to be comfortable, I loved the jacuzzi especially after hours of walking in the mountains.
Also I could swim in the lake because its close to a good area for it ;)
The street is quiet , and there is a lot to do around
I love that it's dog friendly , and the fire pit/ barbecue area as well
