Maison 1823 is a charming place, as is Isabelle, its owner. Our rooms were spacious and well decorated as seen in the pictures. The French breakfast is both abundant and excellent, especially because of the pastries, house-made jam and cheese. Though we came by car, Isabelle mentioned the service to transport her guests to and from the nearby airport. Of course, since it was February we could not take advantage of the swimming pool, but our stay was otherwise very enjoyable. In my view, it is a perfect place for families.

The hostess is very serviceminded.
Interior design as an old house, which is fine. The house is also old with the defects an old house has eg door couldn't close.

The only reason to go to this small village is to visit Michel Kaysers restaurant. It's also the only place to go as there is only one other restaurant and it was closed during our stay.
