Beautiful apartment
Like new
This is a property business.
Check in was one of the most questionable I’ve ever had.
I booked.
Almost instantly I received an email stating something wrong with my payment. I called my credit card company, they stated that no payment is glitch showing on their end.
I messaged through booking.com to try again and payment was taken.
We arrived at the location and had no clue how to get in.
I called.
The man who answered began asking me my name, birthdate,street address, email.
He stated he’s verifying my identity but what was he matching it to?????? He had no ID of mine.
When I questioned him on why he’s asking this he had no reason except that he’s verifying me.
I ran hotels and resorts and never ever saw this kind of procedure.
If you (who run business like this) want your tenant’s verified, might I suggest. You meet renters at door? Or rent thru a company that does. Thorough checks for you. Like Airbnb .
When I rented the space I rented for approximate price of $148 Canadian. But charge to my card was $300. How did it double?
One last thing….. no coffee, cream, sugar …. For $300 a night….shouldn’t there be?
So ….nice space but practices are questionable.

Lots of room for the family as opposed to a hotel room. Location was one minute away from HWY 101 and only a couple minutes from a bunch of beach entrances.
