Cosy bungalow just half a mile from the National Botanic Gardens and only 6 miles from Carmarthen.. All on the Ground Floor:

Guests can roam freely around the eight acres, sample the delights of the orchard garden, discover the enormous fish, geese and ducks that inhabit the wildlife lake along with the otter and mink that live nearby. Rare red kites regularly swoop through the skies above, while ponies and chickens meander through pasture land. With fantastic fishing sites along the River Towy and Trout lakes just a mile away, Heron’s Lodge is a dream location for any fisherman.

Lovely situation although not the easiest place to find. I am quite short and the bed, although comfortable was far too high for me to get into with ease. The bungalow was spacious , and well equipped .

We had a lovely, relaxing stay in this comfortable cottage situated on a smallholding in a rural setting. There is a small garden for guests use and the views are amazing. A small lake is within walking distance although down a sloping field. Wildlife, including squirrels, ducks and geese together with the chickens on the smallholding, was an added bonus. There are lots of places of interest within a short drive such as Pendine, Saundersfoot and Tenby and the Welsh National Botanical Gardens is minutes away.
