I cannot speak highly enough about this apartment and its hosts! We were truly blessed to have such an amazing experience and so close to the archeological site! The apartment has every amenity one could need during a stay in Pompeii (or anywhere). It is pristinely clean, comfortable settings, and perfectly situated in a private compound area. The pictures of the apartment do not due it justice to ALL the amenities available - There is a beautiful restaurant on site overlooking the Island of Capri; perfect for dinner and weekend entertainment! Additionally, there is a garden restaurant available for lunch that seats guests under a peaceful canopy of grape vines. The menus and food at both restaurants were very well thought out and surely some of the best food we experienced during our visit to Italy this year! Our hosts were absolutely fabulous - extremely friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming! I believe we made friends for life with them and are truly counting down the days when we will return to Pompeii! Anyone who has the opportunity to stay with them and experience all the wonderful things about this apartment I’m sure will feel the same!

Beautiful, large and well equipped apartment with private parking. We parked our car and never had to use it again, easy walk to restaurants, shops and the archeological site of Pompeii. Pompeii in January is spectacular, for us it was cool, sunny and seemed like we were the only ones there at times. We hired a local guide for the first three hours of the day and then spent the rest of the day exploring on our own. Karine provided great recommendations for restaurants and local shops, and waited patiently as the GPS in our rental car had troubles getting us to the apartment. We are now a couple weeks and a couple thousand kilometers into our trip and for other travelers from North America that are renting cars we have found Google Maps slightly better than Apple Maps and the Ford navigation system supplied with our car completely useless.

We loved staying at Karine's property. It is as pretty as it appears in the pictures - the deck is huge, well furnished and set in a lovely garden. The interior is comfortable, very tasteful and well-equiped with everything you need. The kitchen in particular has lots of glassware, pots and pans, etc. The beds are super comfortable, as is the living room furniture - great for a group to enjoy. The location is perfect. You can walk to the ruins and to lots of very good restaurants, gourmet shop (Melius), fresh pasta shop, green grocer, ec. The renting and check in process with Karine was efficient, and she was very quick to respond to any questions along the way. She gave us lots of great tips of things to do other than Pompeii - we wish we had been staying longer so that we could have taken a boat to Capri. We highly recommend this property. Would be delighted to come back and stay longer. Truly one of the best places we've found on VRBO. Thanks, Karine.
