Gardenstown is a sweet little village on the coast about one hour north of Aberdeen. The house is located perfectly with an amazing view to the ocean directly out of the kitchen window. It is newly renovated. Everything is in perfect working order. Car can be parked in front of the house. Andreas, our landlord, is a super friendly and relaxed person and gave us both, helpful hints for visits in the area as well as e.g. a gas grill to prepare out freshly self-caught North Sea fish. It is also worth going to a local pub and participate in a Pub Quiz. Very nice opportunity to get in touch with the locals. All very friendly, as all Scottish people we met during our stay. So a 100% recommendation for the whole set.

It was most enjoyable. Location was great. Maybe a page in the visitor book about where to leave garbage and recycle materials at the end of the stay would be helpful

We had an amazing sunny week in Gardenstown.
Sunnyside House has a fabulous view over the village and out to sea. The sunsets are stunning!
The house itself is clean, well decorated and and has everything you need for a comfortable stay.
The locals I met on my daily morning stroll around the village and along the beach were lovely and friendly.
We loved Portsoy and Cullen and had some lovely beach and cliff top walks.
