John is a great host - really welcoming, friendly and super-helpful. The site is in a beautiful location, with a stunning mountain view and lovely peaceful setting near a streatm. We loved having our own seating area and wood burner so efficiently set up for us by John. The bell tents are very nice and cosy and the beds were comfy with warm bedding.
I was at first a bit confused by the bathroom facilities as it mentions private bathroom on the description and I took this to mean dedicated to our tent but I think it's saying that the facilities are not communal. The showers and loos were very nice though, spacious and clean with plenty of hot water. TBH, I think it is a little bit expensive for what you get, but we were treating ourselves. We thought it would have been nice if when only two people have booked in, that the extra beds were taken out of the tent, giving more space.
