Burlington Cottage - Ulverston, Lake District.

The location was great and was just a short walk to the park, which was perfect to walk my dog. On the outskirts of Ulverston so didn't have to battle through the traffic. Supermarket and filling station were nearby. Also, given it's proximity to the road it was surprisingly quiet

No outdoor space (under renovation. Also didn't like the idea of going into the 'communal garden to the shed for things like the hoover or outdoor furniture (not that you could have used it anyway)

Location was fab. Spacious enough for two of us. Price was fab for time of year, but we wouldn’t pay high season prices to stay there given the comments below.

Too many plug sockets didn’t work upstairs, shower head was loose, toilet downstairs broke; Flush was only held on with a temperamental small chain. Place just needs a bit of decorative TLC.

Very clean and tidy. Very welcoming.

Place was not clean on arrival The bed wasn't king size as advertised, only two singles pushed together. Damp on walls, bedroom, main bathroom and bedroom 2 House off main road, very noisy. Kitchen - no tea or coffee, no dishwasher tablets, no proper hand soap Shower - bathtub very narrow and difficult to have a proper shower. The fittings are loose, shower curtain doesn't extend the whole way. Check in time 4pm is very late Asked for late checkout and didn't receive a response Back garden under renovation, please get it done after as seeing the old toilet being dumped there is an eyesore Sofas too low and haven't been cleaned
