Have stayed here quite a few times over the last 10 years or so and while many of these reviews touch on the dated rooms or minor imperfections, I find those things to be easily overlooked when you factor in the extremely fair pricing, personable owners & staff, location & for me personally, I prefer the “dated” decor to the new modernized cold hotel rooms that lack warmth and that “home-y” feeling this motel gives.
Most of the staff have been here for several years so they remember your face each time you visit and you’ll remember theirs too. It’s always comforting to see familiar faces. All of the housekeepers are very personable and eager to make your stay more pleasant. The owner is very out-going and has great rapport with guests—It’s very clear that he takes pride in his work. He always makes notable effort to ensure you’re at ease, leaving no question or concern unaddressed. He honors his repeat/loyal customers with room upgrades or discounts on the jacuzzi rooms from time to time for a night of relaxation.
You can’t beat the competitive pricing with other local motels in the vicinity. Location is great; right off the highway 77 with a good variety of fast food restaurants within close proximity as well as sit down restaurants + shopping less than 2 miles away.
There is hot coffee provided to guests in the morning at the front desk and you’re greeted with the same warm and affable hospitality as you check out with front desk at the end of your stay.
if you’re looking for a good nights rest at a good price, look for further.
