Friendly, welcoming, helpful and brilliant spot in Grasmere. Stayed with two dogs and was perfect.

Great central location with parking, just off the beaten track and a nice garden that badgers visit regularly. Sadly the ground floor room I stayed in had no outside view. The tall window was opaque for privacy reasons but the top half could have been left to be able to see outside. Felt a little claustrophobic. The proprietor was warm and friendly.
