I stayed at this hotel on New Year’s Eve specifically to watch the fireworks, but the experience was extremely disappointing and uncomfortable. There was no reception on arrival. You have to ring them as the contact number was posted on the door. Before I left to watch the fireworks, the power outlet in my room was working. The room only had a portable heater. When I returned later that night, there was no electricity from the power outlets, and even the bathroom lights were not working. I could not use the heater and could not charge my mobile phone. Given that the temperature was around 0 to -1°C, this was extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. I called the hotel staff and was told that the outlet was “busted” because other guests had plugged things in, and that it could only be fixed in the morning. The hotel was full so they cannot transfer me. I had no choice but to endure the freezing night without heating or power. The next morning, I tried calling again, but no one answered. This stay was a complete waste of money and posed a risk to health and safety, especially during winter. I would not recommend this hotel, particularly for cold weather stays or important occasions.

When I arrived the room was not ready. Two foreign guys asked me to wai because they had to check with the lady boss lean at a different place a hundred metres down the road at no 9 Clarendon St. One guy came back to me telling me they need to clean up the room. A few moment later he came back to me Tell me it was impossible to clean the room and there was no water. He asked me to check with the lady boss at 9 Clarence st. When I went to see her the husband and her told me the room was being readied. When in actual fact there was no room to give me. Avoid this property at all costs. And it's not realy a hotel. No receptionist no nothing. The lady boss os of eastern European origin.
