I stayed 2 separate nights in 2 different rooms. Both rooms were amazing - clean and spacious. The artwork and decorations made us feel like we were in a palace. the bathrooms in both rooms were big with a spa feel. The last room we were in had a tub with jets that was welcomed after a long day off exploring Florence. The staff was welcoming and informative. The front desk manager made sure our stay was special. They offer a breakfast at an extra cost and I am so glad we opted to add it. The breakfast is in a charming dining room (vey palace like with a modern twist) and it is abundant. The fruits and pastries were fresh and delicious - and I can't say enough about the cappuccino. It is located right across from the Pitti Palace and is convenient to cute little shops and restaurants.
As it is a very old building the elevator is very small. If you stay go the front desk first and have them help with luggage.

Great location, easy walking distance of everywhere but not stuck right in the middle of the busiest areas either.
As an old building, there's not much sound proofing between rooms.
