Close to the town but still in a very quiet environment

Property had a beautiful lake and park behind it. Amenities were good but a strange set up with the toilet on one side of the room and the bathroom on the other. Our room also smelt smokey which was a little off-putting. Breakfast was good basic spread.

We booked grond floor - interlocking rooms which backed onto the lakeside - perfect for our family. It was 25% chance as half will face the car park, and 25% lake views but 1st floor.
The resturant was in the adjacent casino, again lake side setting and outdoors in summer. Food was good.
Great location although a mile from the town. There is a purpose made cycle track right outside with a 10km flat route to the loire, and also into town. Bike hire in town was EUR 15/day for nice bikes.
Ideal place for 2- 3 night stay.

We loved the atmosphere and the room facing the pond so much that we decided to stay another night at this hotel.
