We would definitely return. The hotel is a priceless historical artefact! The staff were hilarious. They were warm, funny, attentive and all the lovely 'et cetera'!! Thank you for a memorable stay!

Although clean and staff were lovely my room no 10was dated badly in need of repairs- sash windows were broken and slammed shut with a mind of their own- shower was a torrent that you had to dodge in and out of - bath was disgusting with ingrained dirt - carpets so worn they were shiny black in places - breakfast was disappointing- pastries from lids - bread from essentials range - full English tasteless- so disappointing!! Stay somewhere else!
