Staff where outstanding and the hotel was spotless

The room was extremely small and only had two working power outlets.
Bed was very uncomfortable and worn out as was the entire room.
The bathroom vent fan was not working, we told the maid on the first day but management said they knew nothing about it on checkout.
The bathtub is extremely slippery, showering is high risk and the water flow is poor. No anti slip map was available, it was requested but not provided.
Bathroom had no tissues or usable amenities, again what was there was disgusting.
There is a 4% "convenience" charge added when paying in pounds.
Food service was the worst of the 1980's.

10 min walk to castle grounds for parkrun! Gave us a free late checkout till 12. Nice wee place next door serving all day Brunch!

Friendly staff, clean and don't waste your time looking for somewhere to eat at night. The food here is very good.
There is a good selection.
The breakfasts buffet is mouthwatering.
This will be my go to hotel in Stornoway
