The location is excellent right by the main train station and bus stops. The building/room is old and tired. Included breakfast is very limited. The staff is very nice.

Booked the Metropol Basel and luckily we had read reviews ahead of time as this hotel was within the larger property called Euler. Its right next to the SBB station and tram lines with plenty of food options nearby including the main train station. The room is sound proof enough that you do not hear outside noise much. The room was clean and the front desk was exceptional, and do not forget to ask about the Basel Basel City pass which saved us when we went to see various places. Definitely recommended

There were lots of dark stains on the towels. After seeing the towels, you think everything is dirty too.
The reception of the Side Hotel is at your service. Its own reception is closed. Very close to the station. The breakfast is not bad
