Stayed as a couple in Inverness, and the location was fantastic—very central and acceptable for reaching all the main places easily, whether sightseeing, dining, or getting around. It was perfect for a short stay without wasting time on transport.
Breakfast was a real highlight: beautiful spread with fresh juices, good coffee, and plenty of variety—definitely one of the better hotel breakfasts we've had.
Unfortunately, there were several issues that let the stay down. When we entered the bathroom, the toilet seat was not clean, which was off-putting right away. The shower drain was clogged (or had very poor drainage), so water took ages to drain away—it was terrible when traveling as a couple, as one person had to wait a long time before the other could shower.
There was also no hot water from the washbasin tap (sink), which was inconvenient for basic tasks. The room had a heater, but even with it on, the room felt very cold—especially given Inverness winter weather (chilly February temperatures around 6°C/43°F daytime and near freezing at night). We needed extra blankets just to feel comfortable.
These maintenance and comfort problems really need attention and fixing. The location and breakfast were strong points, but overall it felt disappointing for the price. I wouldn't rush back unless improvements are made.

Complimentary Breakfast was minimal, only bread, pastry (1 to 2 types), milk, croissant, orange juice, coffee and tea.
We requested if we could use the washing machine to wash some of our clothes, it was rejected by a lady and Robert indicating that they want to use it but somehow it was not occupied.
We asked for some guidance for a recommendation of a local your for Northern Light sighting, but Robert refused and just say Google from the Net. I am not expecting them to refer to us but do give us some guidance. It was our first visit to Inverness and they were not helpful at all. There was a young man when I reached there on the 4th Mar who wanted to offer more but Robert stopped him.
Location wise - very good but no parking. It is about 0.4 miles unsheltered.
